 <description>&lt;p&gt;Now you can add motorola droid to the list of hacked / unlocked devices that give users more control over their phone. In Android world a hacked android is called to be rooted as opposed to being unlocked or jailbroken. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Android forum has instructions that supposedly show you how to hack and unlock your droid device to gain administrator access.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can modify the operating system, change the handset&#039;s visual theme, customize the operating system and add multi-touch gestures and even add function to your droid that may have been restricted before.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;No new features, and no mentions of any specific bugs outside of a minor one with wired headsets – but there is one big blanket statement: “this release addresses several security issues with Palm WebOS Software”.&lt;/p&gt;
