Improve Hard Disk Speed
If hard disk of your computer or server is taking too much time to get the result, then to improve your hard disk speed you will need to configure a special buffer in the computer’s memory in order to enable it to better deal with interrupts made from the disk. This tip is only recommended if your computer or server has 256MB RAM or higher.
Step 1:
Run SYSEDIT.EXE from the Run command.
Step 2:
Expand the system.ini file window.
Step 3:
Scroll down almost to the end of the file till you find a line called [386enh].
Step 4:

Monitor and restart webserver when it's failed
There's a lot of utility to monitor and restart daemon when service is failed.
Monit
Nagios
Argus

Cacti
They're all great tools, but what's more important is to spend the time to learn them, and adapt them to your environment.

New Seven Wonders of the World: Utter Crap
The “winners” will be 7 monuments culled from an original list of 177 possibilities, which was first compiled in November 2005. By January 2006, the list of monuments had been reduced to the top 21, which is right about the time we first called bullshit on the whole enchilada, to mix metaphors in a most unappetizing way. Quite simply, the entire New Seven Wonders project is a scam designed to enhance the prestige and coffers of its founder.

Broadband or Fraudband
Broadband internet in india seems to be a BIG JOKE . India is called the emerging IT hub but we dont even have decent internet connections - more than 65% of the internet users are still on dial up and the ones on Fraudband have to face pathetic services and dialup like speeds . In almost every other country ppl get a 4 or 8 mbps connection for Rs1500(40$) but in india the max. ull get for that is 256 KBPS which SUCKS , the entire problem is that the government is not unbundling the local loop which will help operators reduce costs and until that happens nothing major can be expected
I Love Moto
i just love the moto rokr phone , i used to be very cynical about motorola phones but ever since i have started using one im loving it the screen is quite large and decent (240*320) , the OS is user friendly and fast - Linux and the best part is its open source i have already installed winamp and the iphone theme on my phone . The camera quality is nice but there isnt any auto focus . The two best features which i liked were business card reader and MusicID . Sound Volume is pretty loud too and the bundled 1 GB card is massive
Stay tuned for more updates on my MOTO
