Best Desk is a powerful tool that allows to personalize an customize your smartphone. It increases the productivity usage of your mobile and lets quick access to key information stored on your device.

Best Desk is a flexible system of customizable panels and full-featured, information rich plugins that represent to-do, calendar entries, messages, call log information, birthdays, list of recent applications, favourites applications/contact/speedial/sms/emails, operator information etc. Successfull combination of personalization and customization makes Best Desk essential add-on to your smartphone.

Personalization:
Best Desk has a flexible panel system for creating panels. Each panel may have set of selected plugins. Some plugins allow to personalize displaying information (e.g. Birthday plugin has option "Period" - it shows birthdays for the selected period).

With help of Favourite plugin Best Desk optimizes most recent actions like: call parents, send sms/mms/email to a friend, open contact, start favourite application. Favourite plugin seriously reduces number of keystrokes and saves you time for more important things.

Customization:
Best Desk allows to customize background, text colors, panel name, right option button, plugins order and other options for every panel. If a panel uses current skin as a background Best Desk will have native system view, but it''s also possible to use custom picture or colour as a background image.

Integration with system:
As an essential application Best Desk can be integrated with native "Menu key cycle". It means that "Menu" key press will switch to Phone, Menu and Best Desk . Moreover Best Desk has an autostart option. You don''t have to start Best Desk every time the system starts.

Operator plugin will show you info that you usually find on the idle screen of Phone application. It mean that you dont need to switch to Phone application to view current time, network status, battery level etc.

Panels:
Best Desk allows to personalize layout of plugins and customize Panel look and feel. Depending on general options the panel layout can be fullscreen and with or without control buttons. Every panel has the following options: Name, Right button, Plugins, Plugins order, Panel order, Background type (Color/Imgae/Skin), Background color, Text color, Highlight color, Opacity level, Font. To switch between panels press joystick left/right, or Pen+left/Pen+right when in the icon bar .

Plugins offer summary and detailed information from different phone sources like contacts, calendar, to-dos, call log, messages etc. Plugin may have additinal actions and keystroke actions, E.g. if calendar plugin is selected Add/Edit/Delete menu appears, so you can add/edit/delete calendar entries directly in Best Desk. Or when you press green call button in Call log plugin Best Desk starts dialing the selected phone number.

Calendar plugin:
This plugin displays summary and detailed information about upcoming calendar meetings, notes and anniversaries in handy easy-to-use view. All operations with calendar items such as create, edit, delete events can be done in Best Desk directly. The number of days to display could be set in plugin options dialog. All events could be sorted by event type.

To-do plugin:
Best Desk allows to manage to-do entries in handy view. This plugin offers basic functionality of build-in todo application together with its own unique options .

To-do plugin presents to-do list with useful filter options. To-do entries could be filtered by "done" status and future date period.

Birthday plugin:
Best Desk collects and displays upcoming birthdays from contact entries in handy view. This plugin presents detailed birthday information such as days left, future or current age and even zodiac sign.

With Best Desk you can send a message or call a person directly from Best Desk application.

Call Log plugin:
Best Desk present call log list with extended detailed call information. This plugin displays call duration and other information available in built-in call log application. Moreover this plugin implements all functionality of built-in Call Log application.

Operator plugin:
For more flexible personalization Best Desk offers operator plugin. It shows all information shown by idle view of Phone application such as network signal, cell status, battery strength, bluetooth status, current date and time etc. This view is very useful if you plan to use full screen mode.

Favourites plugin:

Rich functionality of favourites plugin provides wide range of possibilities that makes usage of your smartphone more productive. With this plugin you can add to favourites any object on your device similar to shortcut functionality on your PC Desktop. Favourite plugin stores speed dials, shortcuts to an application, speed contact, speed mms/sms/email. Messages plugin:
This plugin shows all new entries for the specified period. All messaged are updated automatically when new message is received.

Best Desk saves system information about most recent started/used applications. With help of this plugin you may switch to last started application faster than using Menu application.
