    Video will be bigger ??? How come?
    Since the player can read several format, of course you don't need to do any conversion in order to be able to watch the video.
    I think the size of the video is out of context here.

    i think necrohated is right. without conversion, the files will be ard 20-60mb. but if u convert them, like when u r using smart movie, the files will be ard 5-10mb only

    I haven't tried this version but i have tried the pocketpc version and it works superb. It even playd 3gp. As for 3gp files...it's a lot smaller in term of file size. Correct me if i am wrong...

    Hi ALL!..

    i was using SmartMovie Converter and then SmartMovie Player (on the phone) to see and ear all my fav videos...

    Till i see, install and test this one: TCPMP Media Player

    It´s really the best Video Player i ever seen for S60 phones...

    It´s beta... but it´s work perfect...

    don´t spect too much on the playlist options, and browser... but the video quality it´s amazing... much better than SmartMovie...

    Just for compare... check any of your smartmovie converted videos and play on TCPMP Player ... you will see the amazing difference... the COLOR Saturation and AUDIO quality (use your earphones to ear that) ...

    The Frames Per Seconds (FPS) up to 30 fps without any lagg ... never...
    smooth and fluid always...

    May be sometimes the audio delayed a while but the video keep at top quality always...

    The main controls of TCPMP are:

    "1" : Prev file
    "3" : Next file
    "Nav Button" : Pause/Play and double click for FullScreen
    "Nab Button UP" : Volume UP
    "Nav Button DOWN": Volume DOWN
    "Nav Button LEFT" : keeping pressed for rewind scan
    "Nav Button RIGHT" : keeping pressed for forward scan

    It plays many video and audio formats and don´t need to be converted in size or resolution...

    As Mp3 player works fine too .. but the sound quality it´s a bit lower than OggPlay or PowerMP3...

    Of course you can convert any video to make it smaller in mem ...

    Use for example the SmartMovie Converter.. but uncheck the "Reduce Frames" field... to keep the 30 fps rate... convert in LANDSCAPE mode to make it 208 x 176 size (max posible) (NOTE: You can play any video resolution (X,Y) on TCPMP player, but of course file will be larger, but it´s nice to see that you can fit that videos to your screen size or make zoom in on them)

    Use hi quality on the Xvid Codec options like 360 or 512 kbits for video compression... and put good quality audio like 32 kbits or 64 .. .and 22 khz or more... stereo...

    then play that converted video on SmartMovie first (landscape full size) .. check the quality... then on TCPMP... ..

    And of course you can play QuickTime, realvideo, etc... try that on SmartMovie ...

    You will never use again SmartMovie Player... even knowing that browser options on TCPMP suck yet (remember it´s beta)

    TCPMP can play the videos that needed to be streamed from Opera browser too ... quicktime for example... i didn´t check that yet but i´ll see...

    ok.. that´s all...

    cya!
