Help needed regarding update of PSP

hello ..

i have PSP phat PSP1003 with system software 3.40 OE-A ..
i want to update it to latest software .. but when i run the update file from memory card it gives me the error ''GAME COULD NOT BE STARTED'' ''DADADADA''...

Plz help me out.

it is in sticky thread dude... it is the thread with the latest firmware
