yes, and some phones are not supporting mp3 as ringtone

mp3 files are smaller compared to wav files but larger compared to amr and midi files. wav is still the widely used ringtone format so it could be a reason why mp3s are not allowed to be posted here. but if it were up to me, i'd rather use mp3 as ringtone since it has a relatively small file size vs wav but maintains good sound quality. or maybe if mp3s were allowed to be posted here, it would defeat the purpose of this forum and instead become an mp3 downloading site.
well, just a thought. we'll just wait for mods' / admin's feedback. :D
