forgive me if this is an simple question ...
but
can these movies ....
in .avi formatte able to be watched on a pc ?
i'm using this thingy named limewire ...
so whenever i download these movies ...
in .avi formatte
it couldnt be played on either winamp or window media player
and ,
my mmc doesnt have that much space to store up to 50 - 70 mb just for 1 movie
so i thought maybe i could watch it on the pc or what ...
anyone with any ideas ?
please shed some light on me

off course you can. You must have avi codec installed in your pc first. Just install ffdshow codec, search for it with google. For 3gp, have nokia multimedia converter install, or quicktime player. And for rm, install realmedia player in your pc.

must i install a certain codec for that certain movie ?
or is ffdshow a programme ?

for example ....
the movies i downloaded from limewire ...
but the movies i downloaded thru imserba works ...
pls answer !
what the ext of the file that didn't work? .avi? .rm? or .3gp?

i've downloaded a naruto series from there
its in .avi formatte
but if i try to play it ...
just a logo is there
a totally meaningless logo
and yea,there's no audio also
so am i suppose to find a specific codec for the movie ?

devel_in_me or gilo, can you please post the link or mail me the same codec, i can't even run ETI camcorder videos on my PC and i've heard that its avi videos can be stretched up to VGA size on the PC, is it true?

ffddshow codec can play all avi files, including smartmovie xvid format or mp4. i don't use limewire since i only have dial up connection. what version the ffdshow codec?
try this one, the latest version of ffdshow mpeg-4 video codecs, added on 25-10-2005. click here to download (http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=1092&s=50)
you don't have to adjust anything, just leave the codec as it is. uninstall before you install this version. hope this help.

and um , is it a small file only ?
anyways, u said to uninstall the previous version b4 installing it rite ?
there 's some error on the thing ...
it asked to ignore or something like it ...
anyways , i'm gonna delete everything and download them again ...
