MorphGear is an application for the Pocket PC and Windows Desktop capable of hosting and executing MorphModules.
MorphModules are plugins that can be thought of as miniature applications running inside of the MorphGear shell. Traditionally MorphModules were emulators, but since they can perform any kind of frame by frame drawing task, it is also possible to create native games and applications to be hosted within the MorphGear shell. See the MorphEngine project for more information about creating MorphModules. Emulators simulate a hardware system through software. This can be any kind of hardware or circuit, but for our purposes refers to video game system hardware. ZIOSoft has set the standard for action titles on the Pocket PC with games like Age of Empires and now Spawn. Spawn is another fantastic looking game with very difficult gameplay. However, Spawn is not without a few flaws.



Installation

1) Spawn takes about 2 full minutes to install to main memory (very slow)

2) Spawn has a LARGE footprint: although ZIOSoft says 8MB, I copied 9.9MB from the directory. Conclusion: a lot of space for Spawn.



Graphics

Perhaps the most important aspect of a Pocket PC game, this is where Spawn excels. The world in which Spawn exists is 3d, save for the enemies that you fight. Spawn interacts nicely with the environment and enemies he encounters. The colors in Spawn have a darkness to them, but are brilliant and crisp nonetheless.

Harry Putter is an exciting crazy golf game, utilizing our custom Ray Casting engine to bring you a convincing and fun 3D playing environment.

A true first person perspective golf game, you view of each shot just as if you were standing on the virtual play area yourself.

Armed with only a Putter and a Wedge your task is to navigate your way round all 18 holes completing the course in as few shots as possible... easier said than done!

The 3D element brings an extra dimension to the game (no pun intended). Guiding your ball over uneven terrain, bouncing round blind corners and chipping the ball onto ledges and over obstacles are only some of the things you will need to master.

Some holes can only be completed by rolling over strategically placed switches revealing ramps or hidden passages, whilst others require use of automatic lifts to achieve your goal.

A high scores table keeps track of your best rounds, so get practicing and challenge your friends. Practice makes perfect and soon you will be finding many alternative methods of finishing each hole under par. The obvious route isn''t always the quickest!

A practice mode lets you play selected holes so you can try different tactics to play them. A multi-level undo feature lets you step back and replay shots.

Bubble Snooker is a game that combines the best features of Bubble Shooter, Pool, and Arcanoid. Your task is to remove the balls from the pool-table by shooting at them with the balls of definite color and combining together 3 or more balls of the same color. If the shot was unsuccessful, additional balls appear on the hexagonal net following the rules of John Conway's Game of Life. The balls that do not have neighboring balls (single balls) are removed from the table. When all the balls are removed you go to the next level. If the balls of the definite color are removed from the table, this color will not appear again on this level. The game is over if one or more balls touch on the lower edge of the table. In case the shooting ball strikes against the lower edge of the table, the colors of the balls on the field are substituted for accidental colors (including already removed colors). On the right there is a cue which serves as the indicator of the power of shot: the more it is pulled out upwards the stronger the shot is and the farther the shooting ball gets between the balls. For every removed ball you get 1 point on the 1st level, 2 points on the 2nd level and so on.


Be very attentive and do not leave the "islets" of balls close to the lower edge of the table because after 2 or 3 misses the islets can grow and some ball will touch on the lower edge of the table (that will lead to the end of the game). The winning strategy is to play from the cusions not letting the balls fill in the whole table. Try to remove at least one color from the very first shots. Do your best to make the winning combination (2 or more balls of a definite colors together) for all colors be available at all times.
