View Full Version : Trouble Watching DVD movies on Ps2 ??

Hey guys i connected my Ps2 on my Samsung TV. . I am able to play games but when i Insert a DVD Movie it says :-
" TV Doesn't Match" And in some DVD's It says "NO DISC" or "No DATA"
Can any1 tell me what is this all about !!!
And how can i play all of my DVD movies in PS2 .
My region No. for my PS2 is 3.
And i m playin DVD's marked with "Region ALL"
Plz guys help me out in dis Prob.

Region ALL is a seperate region all together

But it shld be able to play in my PS2 as it is written on the box of my PS2 That "Region All" can be played in my Ps2 .....

Well that is not true. Only ur region dvd can b played. unless u have mod chip compattable of playin copied DVD. SOme Chips dont play DVD at all cept original

hey man i have got a solution for u.first u insert d movie disc when d power is off.den press d reset button 2-3 time repeatedly.then it will automatically play it.if not try 2 to 3 times.:salut:

No this isnt the case. Depends on the mod chip in ur PS2 or if it even has 1 for this than rachit has said. EG on my ps2 u have 2 hold the reset button till in stand by then turn it on.
Anyway progressive scan is a certain type of video mode. Its kinda like ntsc and pal. Thats the only way i can explain it

It jus means that ur ps2 doesnt reckognise it.
A couple reasons this could be
1. It is a copied disk and ur ps2 does not have a mod chip that plays Copied dvd's
2. It is a bad quality copied disk. It was burnt at a fast speed and the image wasnt burnt into the disk properly.
Seriously ur better off jus buyin a cheap DVD player cause the cheap 1's are the best because They have a quite bad laser that doesnt pick up the mistakes in the bad disks.

listen buddy u can can play dvd movies on ur PS2 by doing this. 1stly put dvd movie cd in console then press the reset button to turn it green and after tht keep pressed the reset button for a while
