Gotta agree with u there. The change from The puzzle 2 more action was a great choice. The Third person view i think fits the atmosphere more than the multiple camera views.

Anyway The atmosphere on the game is great, Its workin up 2 wen u open a door and a ganado is tryin 2 stab u with a rusty pitch fork haha

btw, i personally think that silent hill is way spookier than the re series ;)
