Latest Version of Picodrive to play sega roms on your 7710 available now..

full sound suport now in picodrive
enable Z80 and YM2612FM in sound settings and get full sound support

Changes in this release since v0.43:

* Many improvements taken from notaz's PicodriveN port for UIQ.
* Integrated Reesy's DrZ80 ARM asm Z80 CPU core emulation for full sound compatibility.
* Used alternative sound chip emulation sources to allow DAC emulation.
* SRAM Implementation (not tested)
* Added folder browser to 'Load ROM' dialog. ROMs may now be placed anywhere in the browsable
file system, instead of being restricted to 'PDGames'
* Removed the 'H-Ints' option from display settings dialog. It's not required anymore.
* Added mono/stereo option in sound settings (previously stereo only)
* Extended sound settings options to allow enabling/disabling individual chips (Z80/PSG/FM)
* Using tools from Symbian GCC improvement project for better performance.
* Fixed problem with unresponsive UI via touchscreen on 7710 when a ROM is running.

Hey there

Totally love this app. Amazing what people can achieve with emulators these days.

Are there any tips for getting the smoothest framerate and no audio 'clicking' from the emulator i.e. a combo of a certain audio sample rate, screen size, audio emulation off/on settings?

Any help/advice would be really appreciated as playing certain roms really makes the emu 'chugg' a fair bit currently.

Is there also an official website for the emu?

Hi guys....
Picodrive is a sega genesis emulator...but will all sega genesis roms work with picodrive ...if not how to find them....I see a lot of roms with same names but symbols difference in the list of roms......................plllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeee....help:idea:shock:

There is No Idea to Predict whether any Sega ROM will Work for PICO Drive

We will have to Check all the Sega ROM's by ourselves and use those Roms which Work on PICO DRIVE and Also Post Them over there in the Above Mentioned Thread
