Failed firmware flash, HELP

I'ved found on Nokia pages that new firmware arrived for my E70 i've downloaded it and started to update, when all update ended, on pc appeared update failed and on nokia stand only test page.

I've tried again with firmware but phone was in some standby mode and i failed. Then i disconected it and power on, nokia logo appeared, and after somewhile clock appears and only this 2 things are changing. All buttons are dead and not responsive. what can i do please!!!!

I found the way, nokia can be flashed directly on chip. In local store guy said that 80% of internet update are failed. That connection on nokia site is bad...

Dunno if that is true, but I never had a successful(completed) update at home where my connectivity has high ping rates.

But in office where we're using T1 LAN connectivity, all updates I had (twice) so far are all successful.

I may be having luck but am not all comfortable with it. If Nokia was smart, softare updater should allow for interruption, like downloading managers and files should not get corrupt.. Then fone should do the rest of updating NOT the PC because I've heard of instances of PC's shutting down due to power interruption. It's like Nokia SU was intentionally designed to to destroy your fones...

We're already past the age where downloading will work perfectly even if you have intermittent connectivity, and fail-safe bla bla, and Nokia is still using 'stone age' protocols

failed n73 firmware update. is there anyway/anything i can do to recover and not go to a service center???

start ur phone and plug it to the usb of your computer..if it gets detected, redo the whole software update process else goin to the service centre is the onyl option
