Gladiator 3D [JAR]

Developed from a very famous movie Gladiator. There are 2 levels you can play on, slave and gladiator. You have to unlock the second level by finishing the game with each of the characters. You’ll recognise the characters from the film, and they all have different attributes. They guy with the big mace does great damage, but is slow and clunky. The amazon is very quick and others give a balance between speed and attack.
The graphics are stunning 3D and the movement and animation is quick and sumptuous. The sound and backgrounds generate a really good atmosphere and you feel great satisfaction at hearing the sounds your weapon makes on your opponent’s body. In the early levels you will find yourself repeatedly mashing the 5 button. This may get you through slave mode. But for the special surprise you need to clock Gladiator mode and this is a whole new ball game.
