GSP for N95 in San Francisco

hi,

i am debating to get the N95. i have t-mobile in san francisco. if i understanding this correctly, N95 has a built-in GPS feature which uses satellite for navigation.

so, here are my questions.
1. where can i download the US map for free
2. do i need to pay a fee to use the GSP
