help me formatting MMC with unknown password on it

Try to format using digital camera. It shld ok then.

lets say you have a digital camera... one that uses MMC as the storage media., just put your MMC there and format it using the camera the return it to the phone to check if it works now or just format it again with the phone if needed!

just to add to what gman03 said... most camera's wont use MMC but rather SD card. take note that your MMC card is 100% SD compatible so any camera that uses either MMC card or SD card will do

try formatting it from the phone itself first (the format memory card option) if that doesnt work, try card reader

if it still doesnt work, it might mean its infected with a virus (cardtrap or cardblock). in which case, the only way to format would be with the use of a digital camera or the nokia communicator series phones

well dude the option of using card reader is WRONG

i tried doing that last week the card is not even detected, i mean the card reader does not auto detect the password protected mmc

mayb the digital camera trick works as i just recollected my password before i could ask it here .......

the MMC is locked in a password so if i ask the phone to format MMC it will ask me for the password to format and if i use the MMC with a password on a card reader it wont open i dont know if i use the MMC on the camera if it will ask for the password like the phone do cuz i dont have digital camera to try and the app above its not working its failing
