may be bad sector or u can format ur hard disk.

there might be a problem with your master boot record. try fixing master boot record from DOS, by typing /fix mbr.... or try some software that might fix your drive. i use Partition Magic. Just boot the program and set all values to ZERO. then format the drive.

i have questions...
is there any softwre where i can retrieve files from that hard disk it's not partitioned a whole hard disk is my safety box from my files. please can you help me about it
