means u've installed the drivers wrong. or, another reason is your connected using memory card in your connection settings

installing the drivers?

to change connections, go to setup -> connection -> select USB then data/fax

for drivers just check this out. click here

dude i hav a l7 i`ve tried evryy damn thin i` have p2k bt wen i connect it says phone not connected , it further says imd protected etc etc doesnt show da files on my fone plzzzzzz help

try this. when you connect your phone to PC, before opening P2K Commander, open first multiflashflex.exe in the PST directory or RSDlite.

no not multiflashflex.exe in the RSDlite directory... its in the PST directory if you have that installed.

if you have RSDlite, then just open it. and have RSD connect to your PC.
