HOW to create ur own GIF.... with PICS...

Many of the dudes wanted a tutorial to how to make their own gifs….
Well… I made this tutorials for them using imageready… hope it HELPS!!!

Now we r going to create a simple image… such as this…



Open the package and, select the following specifications as shown in this image…



this will start a new canvas for ur signature image.
Fill in the canvas with white using the paint bucket tool.

By using the text tool, create a text layer by clicking on the canvas and pulling it, till the size of the bounding box satisfies u. the text box and the cursor appears… ur screen should like this…
From the text box… select the desire formatting settings and type ur text in the bounding box..

after that, u need to create a new frame. If the animation menu is missing, goto window ----> animation from the main menu.

U can create a new frame by pressing on the new frame button as shown in the image…


in the animation menu, click on the second frame. Remember… the effects of the previous frame, passes over to the next frame also. So, now if add a shadow to ur text…



a box with options for shadow will appear…


adobe gives the best suiting settings when u open this box… but, u can always tweek it.. u’ll learn abt the box more as u use it… Experiment with it as much as possible!!!

now preview it by clicking the preview button…


u will c that the animation is fast and doesn’t let u to even c the changes in every frame… let us now tweek that…

click on the first frame, then click the tween button…


then a tween box with default tween comes up…
try to get it to the settings as given in the above pic.

Now preview it again… u’ll c that u STILL cant enjoy ur creation..
For that, u have to set delay time for ur frames.
Click on the LAST frame.
Ull find a default time under it is 0 secs. Click on it..


after that, u will get a pop up box, which will ask u 4 ur settings.. it looks like this…




click for 2 secs… NOW, preview ur BABY!! Now it looks like a neat gif doesn’t it?
U have to save it now…

Files ---> save optimized as
this will bring up a familiar SAVE box… browse for ur location. Check the extension as GIF and hit SAVE..

THAT’S IT!!!!

heres what i did with ur tutorial
man how can imake my name come one letter at a time

all the letters must b in a separate frame...
better no to tween them, the image size will increase...
if that isnt an issue, just tween with 5 frames will give an nice effect....

Few of u guys.... dont knw how to upload ur signature or avatar image....
i'll tell u guys...

first... u need to open an account for free in any of the THOUSANDS of the free image hosting sites.. few being photobucket and imageshack... out of which, i recommend newbies photobucket...

next.. u MUST knw the signature or avatar dimension and size limits set by the forum... avatar here should be within 80X80 and 25Kb in size... however, there is no restriction for the size and dimension of a signature....

when u open an account in any of the ABOVE sites, im sure that ull quickly understand wat 2 do (ATLEAST I DID!!).. upload the picture u want...

after the upload is complete... the site will supply u with the image's direct url... COPY IT!

now... goto ur IMSERBAN user control panel.. --> goto the edit avatar link... this will give u 3 choices...

 
1. select from the given avatars by imserba
2. upload one from ur computer
3. give a direct link to the image...

paste the direct link to the 3rd box... OR u can slect a picture frm ur comp. and upload it directly...
if.. ur image succesfully passes the parameters set by the site, it BECOMES UR NEW AVATAR!!! CONGRATS!!

otherwise try again after resizing or another image...

SIGNATURE

it gives u a plain text box
remeber the site where u uploaded ur signature image?
it supplies u a code which says for forums... copy it and paste it in the plain text box of ur signature...
save the changes and VOALA!! ur avatar and sig is ready!!!


just ask 4 any more help
