    How to Remove Watermark Fom Images in Jpg\jpeg Format?

    Dear Imserbians\Mods\Friends,

    Can anyone help me on how to remove the watermark from Images i jpg\jpeg format files...

    Unless the jpegs are your personal property, its illegal to remove the watermarks without the publisher's permission... blah blah blah.

    There's no universal software that can can automatically remove a watermark since there are different types of watermarks. You can try using image editors like photoshop to clean up the watermarks but it involves some work especially if your dealing with a lot of images.

    Its not possible & u r not supposed to remove watermarks.

    U can try removing the mark with image editors as kayong said, but it will show clearly to the experienced eyes & sometimes even to ordinary eyes.

    Kayong\Doc,

    Thanks for the info. Actually, I took a picture of a Rose and created a transparent watermark with Wordings on it to set it as a wallpaper for my girlfriend's phone... But now she doesnt like the watermark and I've deleted the original picture from my mobile phone... Now I'm left with only the watermark'd image...

    As you and kayong said, I need to go with the watermarkd image... No other go...

    Post the pic here if u can & if its not personal, we will try to do it, i cant see any other way of removing it.

    After searching a lot i got hold of this tutorial dear..Made by one of my fellow DTian...Enjoy the tutorial...No more explanations required....So here is it

    Still trying.I think the best way is to use heal tool in adobe
