how to transfer sms from memory card to phone memory

There are two ways
1.go to the messages just press the icon and then go to options and in it to settings there u find other setting choose it and then choose to change memory in use and choose phone memory then it ask to copy messages press yes.
if it doesnt ask to copy then.

2.use file explorer or fileman what ever you use delete the folder
c:\system\MAIL. go to e:\system and copy folder named MAIL and paste it in c:\system(not in MAIL folder).

or u can try using Msdrive software although i m not sure tht will it work in 7610 but still worth a try i use it in n-gage...

iv more easy way. Just write ur sms in notepad on computer or something and then transfer it to memory card. After that, open the text file and select options and then, send it through text message from the options.

Then save the message in draft or send it.

the function you get by msdrive that was inbuilt in it and read what h/she want he/she want to transfer sms from memory card to phone so he/she can use new MMC, not to shift the memory

Install Message Storer and take Backup all your messages in single notepad..
it will be copied on notepad and automatically stored in your memory card with a file name of Messages.txt then simply transfer the file to your system....

if ur phone has option to toogle between phone and MMC memory for msg then go this way

1 delete the (mail) folder fron c:/system
2 now goto mesage->options->settings->other->memory in use
3 change it to phone memory
4 now it will ask to copy msg from mmc just select yes and all ur mmc msgs are transferred to ur phone memory
5 now if u use another mmc just do the same for again moving it to mmc

Try using Mobtime cell phone manager. But u will need a pc for this. U can easily browse ur cell from ur pc, drag drop files, take backup, etc. Its a gr8 s.w

i have transfered all my sms to phone memory
i tried wht nishant told me. delete my mail folder from c drive n copy paste mail folder to e drive. its works. but u lost all ur previous sms in phone memory.
but u can also try SteelSoft SMS Suite v2.0 S60 to backup all ur sms
