Is your TimeZone Autoupdate in ON mode? try to switch it OFF first and let's see.
2nd, is this same when you first bought the phone?

You can resotre your orignal phone settings by

Go to settings--->Phone----->General---->orignal phone settings.

It ask for the code....Type the code if u changed any ....else Nokia standard code is

(one)(two)(three)(four)(five) in numbers*

For fomatting mem card.Go to memory click option bar and format Mem Card...

For format MMC,you can go to Memory ( in some folder )---> click options---> format mem card.

Its simple....

But if have a card writer..........do format it in your Pc.

Right click the "removable device" in My computer.

Then format it.

Dude, we just want to let them know that formatting your phone does not guarranty you to solve all your problems. One problem needs proper solution, and I think formatting any phone is a last resort if everything fails to do so.

Anyway, Addictor, try the ff:
1. Press *, Clear and Power button all at once for about 3 sec OR Press *, Call and Power button.

OR

2. use *#7370#.

but still i dunno the 4mat code

6300 is S40..no format code exists mates..it works only on S60..!! THINK before posting just about anything!!!
