While we all waited for an official Froyo update for our Doird, Incredible, and EVO 4Gs, LG is already intoducing their first phones based on the largest and greastest Android build.

The company has decided that they will launch the Optimus Series over in the UK recently, It is a family of samrtphones that will run “on a range of OS’ as well as Android.”

And if all turns out okay, LG will introduce ten more new smart devices under the Optimus label worldwide in the second half of this year. Though I found out there’s only two that are being revealed now.

The Optimus One with Google and the Optimus Chic. Those two will run Android 2.2, that are mostly aimed at the “sleek curves” that makes them so apparent.

We will find out more about the price, availability, and the specs later on. But I guess, maybe this is the beginning of the Froyo flood to come.
