Make Own SmS/Alarm/Nametone!

Guys taking into consideration the load of requests on Nametones ....
And the members' demand on knowing how to make their own nametones ....
Here is a detailed Tutorial which you can follow to make ur own nametones!!!

To Make Your Nametone You need These Softwares (2):

1-The Use Of Replay AV

This software allows you to record online streaming Audio & Video !!!
And as i have mentioned before , nametones/wake up nametone/sms nametones aren't for free , which means you can't simply download them from somehwere!!!

The issue is that most of the sites that provides Nametones , has a Preview utility which allows you to listen to the desired nametone , and here is where we need to record this Streaming music!!!

2-How To Use Replay AV

Just Follow These Steps {see Screenshots}

Settings



As you can see in the screenshot ,just select "Record" & than select "Record Audio From Speakers"



When you press Record , you will be redirected automaticly To this window in which you need to define the Format of your recording & to which format you wish it to be converted for.



As you can see , you can Record your Nametone to either Mp3 or Wav Formats

If Mp3 , Just select Mp3 as marked in the screenshot!!!



Now as you can see in the 4th screenshot, after selecting the format to which u need to record , you will have to specify the bitrates of ur recorded file!!!

I did the exemple of Mp3 & selected 128 Kbps as you can see .

You can select any suitable bitrates for ur mobile (note that the lower the bitrates are the smaller the size of the file will be ,in addition that the volume will varie too)


PS:Also if you select the format to be Mp3 , you can see that in the "convert after recording" there are many formats too , like Ogg & Wma !! you can use these formats as well if you preffer them!!!



Now here ,as u can see ,you can select the mode of ur file....weither you need it to be in a Mono or Stereo Mode!! Select the one you usualy use for your ringtone!!! Or simply leave it as default which is Mono!!



Now that you have completed the settings , just Play the Preview of the Nametone In any site for nametones and before you can hear the music playing just press "Record" & when it is done just Stop it {as in screenshot} and the Replay AV Conveter will automaticly start & converts ur file as you have defined earlier


1-The Use Of Power Mp3 Cutter

This software is used to trim or cut a specific segment in an audio file!!!

2-Why & How To use Power Mp3 Cutter

As many of you may be on dial up or have a non-stable connection, when you Preview the nametone like i said before it may take some time to load & play ,but meanwhile Replay AV is still Recording even if the music haven't started yet!!

So when you go to check ur recorded file {folder: Recordings} you may have many silence at the beggining and maybe at the end too , and here where we use power Mp3 Cutter to remove those silent parts!!!



PS:I know that many of you are familiar with the Use of this easy software but still i made screenshots for the one who don't know about it!!!


Just Follow The Screenshot



All you have to do now is to drag & drop ur recorded file into it , and set a begin & an End to ur file (to remove the silence from it) !! As marked in the screenshot!!!

Than Cut the Segment and your Nametone is Now Ready and all you need to do is to send to your mobile and Enjoy it!!!

I thought of giving the resources to all of you ,and which are the best ....but i have to check with mods to see if this is possible!!! will get back to you soon about this matter!!!

But for now, a simple google search would do the job perfectly!!!

guys c mon !!! a simple google search would do the job ....just open google and write nametones and that's it ....you will get 100's of sites!!!!

yes ur right....it is meant to be for version 7 ....it will ask you to upgrade but do not do it!!
the old version can do the job perfectly....
