hey illbond i created some wav tones and wen i played them in my mob(nokia7710) they sounded as if they speaker is Fu*cked!!!

it seems that there is a problem in the bitrates!!!
can you tell me the specifications of ur wav file after conversion ??
Speaker noise = Distortion = wrong or high bitrates

i also advice you to use the wavepad , it is also good and it's an alternative!!

try to PM me the file and i'll see about that one ....

Hey iilbond..u did a marvellous job by explaining functionality of diff softwares....
i personally use "SONY SOUND FORGE" for editing, converting, amplifying and all those kind of stuffs....
but i hv a problem or rather unsatisfaction with the software.. i think it doesnt increase the volume of sound upto my expectations....
i m posting 2 mp3 ringtone files, if u dnt object....
1st of them is "bahon ke darmiyan"...this ringtone is very loud(not made by me)...
2nd is "ke tere bin" frm aggar movie...this 1 is made by me, but i cudnt make it louder...if u can plz help me to make it louder, then i'll b highly grateful 2 u....and i promise i will make much contribution to this thread.....hope to get to know the correct technique for the purpose.....

It's a very application which can increase the volume drasticly .

If you need to make a wav file louder : Use Goldwave which is posted on page 1 with screenshots.
