The best way to judge how well a device is going to do in the future is by knowing their leaked prices. Of course, there are other factors, like the device looks, works, and what carrier it’s launching on. But for others, pricing is the big deal.
I got a sneek –peak in an internal T-Mobile pricing sheet, and found out what the Motorola Charm ( known as Basil ) and Samsung Supersonic are going to cost.
First is the Motorola Charm. You’ll have to save up $269.99 to get your hands on it. But if you want a two-year contract, you’ll be dropping $74.99. This is Android 2.1, MOTOBLUR-infused portrait QWERTY keyboard device.
And the second one is tricky, because we don’t have any idea about the Samsung Supersonic. Or maybe it’s just a codename for Samsung Vibrant? We we all know that it has a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, TouchWIz 3.0 with Android 2.1 which is coming to T-Mobile on July 21st.
And I can tell you that it is tagged at $499.99, while you can have a new two-year contract by spending $199.99.
But I don’t know is this just a codename or it’s the real thing. We’ll just have to wait and see.
