N-gage QD MsdriveE problem.. PLSS help !!

hey dudes..
I have a n-gage qd.. and am usin msdriveE to save my msgs.. i have a lott of very imp msgs.. Recently, all the msgs kinda got deleted.. I was usin it normally.. Suddenly i see that theres only one msg in my inbox.. I check in file explorer.. the mail folder.. some files i gues were missing but most of them were there.. and the index file(i guess its coz of this) which was some 400kb became 10 kb.. PLSSSSSSSSSSSSS COULD U TELL ME HOW DO I GET BACK MY MSGS.. ITS REALLY REALLY URGENT... Ill be very grateful for ur help.. Thanks a tonne in advance....

rayangc, try re-running the MSDriveE again. When ever you remove your mmc and pop it in again you need to re-run MSDriveE again.

to backup your messages,(i do it everytime) just copy the mail folder in the memcard\system directory into ur pc using the memcard reader...you can then copy it back to the mmc any time..
this applies if you have saved ur messages to the mmc..(in ngage=msvdrive method and in other fones, the tools method)

if your messages were saved using msedrive, they were saved on the MMC right? we can only hope that those important messages were saved on your phone's internal memory too. try taking out the MMC then check your inbox, hopefully some of your messages are there. if not, most probably your MMC got corrupted and those messagse may have been deleted already....

hey dudes.. thanks a lott for replyin.. i dont think so my card is corrupted coz evythin else is workin k.. and i dont put anythin in my fone memory.. achly, my msgs account to some 900 odd kb.. is this causin the probem?? also, when i try to check the size of the mail folder in fexplorer, it gives an error.. Ive observed something, the files in folders 0 and 1 in the 0000100 folder( the 1st one in the folder list, havin many subfolders like 0,1,2,3..a,b..) are missin.. and all the folders are k.. Jus wanna know how do i create the index file.. Achly, i had made a backup of my mail folder.. but that was some 2 weeks before this thing happened.. and i want the msgs sent after i had made the backup.. I could copy the index folder from there, but am afraid the recent msgs wil get deleted or sumthin.. plss advice genetic disaster.. and also once again.. thanks a lottt for ur help...

i have a prob in n gage QD. i cant able to install the software files more than 1 mb n i've installed MSdriveE eventhough its not installing. please help me!!!!!! waiting for ur reply

your problem is that your phone mem is almost full..

ms drive only copies the mes to mmc and not is used in any way for int the s'w..
other wise inst using pc suite
