N73 software update problem

Good day to all of you good guys and gals!

I don't know where to ask this because I have tried all the things I know but still cannot get my N73 (not ME) and get the message that my phone is not supported when attempting to update. I am using the latest Nokia PC Suite and Nokia updater. Updating it through a Cable connection.

My phone was given to me by my brother and it came from Saudi. I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem. Please help I need my phone to get updated.

All help will be appreciated. Thank you!

One thing you can do is try to change the phone's product code using Nemesis Service Suite and then try upgrading

Thank you very much Sir Blaze for the reply. If I may ask where can I download the software you mentioned and what specific code should I place for the product code of my phone? Also, any consequences of using the Nemesis Service Suite? I appreciate the help.

well, you can try searching Google. But the easiest way would be to type something like "N73 to N73 ME" in Google. This would show you many sites which teach you how to change your firmware to N73ME. In those sites, they would provide links to NSS for you to download. So, try that out

can someone help me on this,

why is it that it takes forever to detect my phone by the NSU v1.3.71??

im using windows vista and a presario b1900 notebook, trying to update my n73...

is there any other alternative on updating except in going to the nearest nokia care centre?

please help..
