Need advice on upgrading to 3250 from 6630

Hi Gang,

I'd like solicit advice from you regarding my plan to buy new fone. First, I certainly prefer Nokia above anything else due to availability of apps.. Oh, I live in Manila, Philippines. I'd like to know more abt the 3250. I read the reviews and it's very mixed, most problems I see are related to the phone's very small internal memory, aside that, it's good. Is it really worth the upgrade from 6630??

I'm also looking at n70 which is cheaper btw. But which is better in comparison? n70 or 3250? Which is better for the cost?? Better in all features(except 3g because 3250 is not and I don't use 3g)Thank you!

P.S. I also hear 3250 sound quality not as good as w800i but I'd like to know your opinion...

yes n70 is a gud fone and is also based on OS8 (almost all apps work on it)

whereas 3250 (gr8 music fone) is based on OS9.1. This fone will only run sisx format and all ur previous collection of application will becom obsolete.
I wud prefer to buy 3250 , coz after some time many new apps and high quality games will be launched as it has a very gud ram.

buy the sony-ericsson if u wanna spoil ur fun, it is not based on symbian, so u wudnt expect anything from that fone (only music)

n70 is elegant and has a better quality camera than 3250 (though both hav 2megs, the material used in 3250 is cheaper)
whereas 3250 is a cool music fone playing alot of formats and has a 3.5mm connector for universal headphones or it can also be connected with ur own deck

now the choice is urs

well if u wanna go for a good camera fone - go for n70
and if ur a music - freak go for 3250

and if u wanna sped more go for n71

thanx ayush u really did a good work im thinking to buy a fone and thanx bro i think i go for nokia 3250 but can u give some info abt n71 how much it cost and its functions stuff like that thanx again bro

n71 is for around 20,000 rupees

its is also based on OS9.1 like the 3250
he camera is quite comparable with Nokia N70
and it has a flash which 3250 lacks[cam quality is also btr than 3250]

The model is a compromise between Nokia N70 and Nokia N80 in another form-factor, which will also attract audience (but n70 is OS8 and n80 is OS9.1)

i think u shud go for OS9.1 (3250 or n71) , to be more future proof

You shouldn't expect this model to become a bestseller, it will have sure moderate sale, and the company counts on it (bestsellers are models with the last digit of the index equal to 0 or 5, for instance, the N95).

this fone comes with a 128 MB miniSD
whereas 3250 comes with a 512 MB microSD

micro SD are much better

i vud again prefer 3250
b'coz of the dedicated music keys

well all the other features like USB mass storage, new music player and 3.5mm headphone jack are supplied with it

a gud thing i like in 3250 is that wen we turn the keys the whole menu also changes to landscape mode (even the desktop)

but again the choice is yours
