    hope this helps

If you have Cydia then you have a Jailbroken Iphone.

Cydia is a repository for applications and programs that wouldnt get admitted to appstore. Not everything is free on Cydia - the blue highlighted programs are hosted applications that you need to pay for.

You say you want to copy files to your phone, this is a bit of a generic description but ill explain a couple of available methods.

If you are referring to music or movies then you should use iTunes. This is the equivalent of Nokia suite for the most part. Import your music and videos into your itunes library and you can then sync them with your phone.

I tunes is also used for installing programs and applications, but if you wish to use copied applications and games as you find here then you must first add a sync patch to your iphone. To do this follow these instructions....

    1) Open cydia
    2) wait for it all to finish updating
    3) click on "manage" on the toolbar at the bottom
    4) click on "Sources" on the main screen
    5) click on the "edit" button in the top right
    6) click on the "add" button in the top left
    7) you will be asked to enter a URL give this one
    http://cydia.hackulo.us
click to add it anyway when asked
    9) click "done" in the top right
    10) you should now see a source called Hackulo.us
Click on that source to see its programs
    11) you will need to click on AppSync for OS X.X
where X.X is your operating system (3.2 works for all 3.2.x variants as does 4.0 work for 4.0.1 etc.)
    12) click the "install button" in top right

(While you are here I personally recommend you install Installous too, this allows you to download direct from appTrackr and install on phone without needing iTunes - it will even sync back to iTunes)

Now you can sync copied apps to your phone from iTunes. Double click on the filename.IPA file you downloaded and it will be imported to iTunes, then just sync your phone.

If when you said you wanted to copy files to your phone and are talking about actually accesing the file system then you should look for a utility called ifunbox. this will give you direct access to the file system from your PC to allow transfer of files backwards and forwards. Not recommended for music or video as they wont show up in your ipod library on the phone if copied this way. (Just remembered I think you may have to install AFC2ADD from Cydia to be able to use ifunbox)

    Good Luck
