The Barcode reader application is used for decoding different types of codes (for example, barcodes and codes in magazines). The codes may contain different kinds of information, such as URL links, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers.

Before scanning a code, depending on the type of the camera in your device, turn the close-up switch of the camera to close-up mode when scanning the code.

To scan a code, select Scan code. Set the code between the red lines on the display. The Barcode reader scans and decodes the code, and the decoded information appears on the display.

My Note: It is preinstalled on many new phones. But not in N80, so I got this official Barcode Reader by Nokia just for N80 users. Give the first try by scanning my 2D Barcode shown below.
