North Versus South!!

This has got to be one of the UK's BIGGEST debates! The question is... Which is better... The North, or The South???

I am a northerner and so i say THE NORTH IS BETTER!!! any challengers?

not really, the north is full of smart people who:

A) have enough sense not to live down south with the STUPID living costs,

B) value their lives more and dont really wish to be shot or stabbed!

and you cant really tell me that im hitting extreems simply because when i went down south for an interview, i had the great fortune of getting slashed across the back by some with a knife not more then 20 yards away from the interview site... sooo NORTH IS BETTER!

I'm from the midlands, I live up North. I can't think of a more depressing and dreary place. I've stayed in the south for many months. Same can be said. UK is crap anyway!

Have travelled all round UK,and Wayjin you got it spot on.UK is crap & wet.

Just to make my point more annoying to all of you, i'm Polish but born and raised here. I've been fortunate enough to travel and experience European culture, especially since i have family in Poland and I can honestly say that this place has got it all wrong. You complain about the poles coming here, it annoyed me for a while. But, i've come to realise that they're just exploiting an opportunity as everyone else does, blame the UK government for letting them live and work here, most other EU countries turned them away.
The government let EVERYONE in and then complain about immigrants. It's not suprising that when the Poles suck you dry your economy is going to be in crisis. THAT'S when i'm moving to Poland.

dont you see that theyre deporting people as we speak. the BNP wont have any more power then the current governemt to deport people. right now, labour is deporting one illegal immigrant every 8 minutes. and it costs £11,000 of tax payers money to bloody do it! what do you think the BNP is going to do, kick out every coloured person in the country?

wow, arent you a fantastic pluralist. thats the kind of attitude thats shoving britain right down the s.h.i.ter. i mean ,what a great empire it was, and then it was people like you who decided to bring the reputation and esteem of this country down. the thin about brits nowadays is that they all chat on about how foreigners are stealing their jobs and that bollocks, well if you took ur bloody finger out and decided to actually ACT and TRY, you might get somewhere!
