Opera Mini on N-gage (classic) - An unexpected error occured

    Hi,

I recently installed Opera Mini on my N-gage (classic).

I downloaded Opera Mini using the Services app (which is WAP AFAIK) so I know my GPRS connection is ok.

I'm in the UK and using Virgin as my service provider.

I'm having trouble getting Opera Mini to work, every time I open the app and try a URL I get the following error: 'An unexpected error occured'.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there has got if working ok on their N-gage?
Or maybe someone has a clue as to why it's not working

    Thanks for any help/advice

    Thanks for the reply mate

I don't see any options to set GPRS enable proxy off?
Or proxy port settings/host from my ISP :/

I had the settings sent direct to my mobile by my ISP.

If I open my Connection settings and Access Points I have:

    Connection name: Virgin Enhanced
    Data Bearer: GPRS
    Access point name: goto.virginmobile.uk
    User Name: user
    Password: ****
    Authentication: secure
    Gateway IP Address: 193.30.XXX.X
    Homepage: http://www.virgin.com/mobile/wap
    Connection security: Off
    Sesssion mode: Permanent.

I have WAP access, running the Services app in the Media folder works fine.

I think it's just miniopera crashing?

I have an N-gage Classic and downloaded the low memory version of miniopera.

    Thanks mate

I looked into it and wrote to Virgin (my phone network provider).
They said that unfortunately they only support suppport WAP access and not Web.

So basically I can only use WAP
