Problem sending information (over bt,ir)

Why i can't send files which are higher reffering to the size than 3-4 MB. When i try this it saids "Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first". I want to send some MP3's to my friends which has the sizes 5MB, 6,7MB, and some others. I think it stores this file first in C: memory and then start transmiting. Pls, can you help me?
I have a Nokia 6600 phone with firmwire 5.53 and yesterday i formatted it and i think it have a bigger ram memory now (unoccupied). So what is your opinion?

what program do you use to transfer the files? also, check the memory on the phone you are going to transfer to because the problem may be there on the destination phone., it may be low on memory...
