PacketVideo's pvAuthor is an easy-to-use content authoring solution that converts your video files into the format used by mobile phones for video messaging (MMS), visual e-mail communications and entertainment.
pvAuthor supports input of popular digital content file formats and supports live streaming from any DirectShow-compatible capture device. It is optimized for mobile operators, content providers and other media service providers. It comes with and without the AAC encoding option. AAC is the MPEG standard for high quality music encoding at bit rates ranging from 16 kbps to 128 kbps. If one is encoding music applications, then AAC can be implemented. Otherwise, for voice applications, the version without AAC will be adequate.
