Repair registry??

I want to know, is there any method where we can repair registry from bootable windows XP cd? I am facing problem windows cannot boot normally and cannot get into safe mode. Or is there any method other than installing windows again

Try to repair form windwos xp..cd
insert ur bootable cd into drive..and booth formthat..where u ill get blue screen in that screen u ll get the option repair xp try that...and on that command prompt if u cant get the cammands then write help their ull get all list..
