Overview: live dmesg is the only app showing the real dmesg log when booting! ubergeeky!


live dmesg is the one and only boot animation replacement that shows the actual dmesg log (kernel debug messages). It looks a bit similar to a BIOS boot. Handy for developers too! Unlike other similar apps, the information you see on screen is real and live, not a pre-recorded fake.

!! this application requires a fully rooted device !!

!! install on DEVICE, NOT on SD-CARD !!

The application uses some (root) trickery to get itself installed and running, and it may not be compatible with all devices. We know at the moment it doesn't work on Tegra devices. It has however been tested and found working on the following devices:

What's New:
(v2.0) Some changes made to the surface renderer and associated permissions. This SHOULD fix the boot delay issue, and MAY fix several other issues.
