Problem connecting?
If the client cannot connect, the reason is that you have the wrong connection settings for Java programs in your phone.
1. Find your Java Connection Settings (Note: often not the same as the browser`s connection settings)
2. The connection should be GPRS Internet, GPRS Data or equivalent. The connection type should not be WAP or MMS, but rather HTTP.

Instructions

1. Verify that internet is currently functioning on your phone, MobiChat will not work with out this.
2. Ensure your phone is compatible with the Java application, then install it on your phone.
3. Start the application and go to "Setup".
4. For trial account, a MobiChat login is not required, you can leave that section blank.
5. Select MSN/Yahoo/AIM and enter your IM account details.
6. Once you have completed adding your IM account details, select "Setup Complete".
7. You will return to the MobiChat screen then select "Login" and permit network access.
8. To activate trial, read IMPORTANT message once logged in.

re: Dictionary, there is no english - english dictionary availabe for s40v1 phones, however if u want it for s40 v2 and smart phones (s60), i will post them!

For s60 i have Oxford dictionary

MobiDict is a mobile dictionary to be run on mobile devices that support J2ME (MIDP/CLDC). Provides 10 000 words and simultaneous search for english and german words! Also online translation function available using Google Translate!

The translation is instant, just type a word or letter in the text field you see! A moment later you get the found words at the bottom.
If you want to use the online translation make sure your internet connection is properly configured. On some phones you may need an Internet GPRS connection configured instead of the standard WAP GPRS connection.
Note that some phones may have software bugs that can prevent MobiDict from using the online service!
If your phone cannot handle the application size try with the smaller one-way translation english-german and german-english
