It's true that the new version of fring does support Skype and fring video calls ... but there seems to be some kinda glitch in the software. It worked the first time I tried making a call to my desktop Skype and fring on my wife's phone (XM 5800). But today when I tried doing it once again, fring gave a message saying " fring videa works over Wifi and 3G. And the only option is an "ok". Once you press that, the call ends !

I have tried restarting and verified that my wifi connection is active. But doesn't seem to work. Even when the other party made a video call to me from skype, I only got a voice call, on my phone. The same problem with my wife's phone. So I suspect the problem is with the fring phone client.

Anybody else having the same problem ?

I have no problem, I called on skype to fring and fring to fring for all its ok, video work well. You can go on fring web site, ther is support section.

How to fix Fring and Nimbuzz problem on Satio after Hack

We noticed that some Satio users claims that Fring and Nimbuzz stop working on their phone after Hack with HelloOX2, the problem was caused by the root certificate. It can be fixed by removing it. The root certificate only needed during Hack, we don't need it after Hack actually, so it is not a problem to removing it. It can be removed by HelloOX2 v2.03 UnHack function too, but UnHack will also removing all Hack, we know that you don't really want to.

Here is the workaround for removing the root certificate only:
1. open up RomPatcher+ to apply Open4All_RP+ patch
2. use any 3rd party file browser to delete c:\resource\SwiCertstore\ folder
3. go to Settings -> Application mgr. -> Installed Apps, remove SwiCertstoreUpdaterD
4. reboot

Try it!!!
