First thing first - New and inexperienced users stay away because it will harm you more than doing good.

Fresh Install

1) Install msxml6_x86.msi (ignore if already installed on your system)
2) Install vcredist_x86.exe (ignore if already installed on your system)
3) Install Nokia_Connectivity_Cable_Driver.msi
4) Install Nokia_Flashing_Cable_Driver.msi
5) Install Nokia_Service_Tool_Drivers.msi
6) Install FLS-4Drv1.34.exe (Install this only if you are facing problem otherwise)
7) Install Phoenix_Service_Software.msi (Version 2009 )

This is a fixed release and dongle fix patch may not be required.
8. Fix Dongle by installing Phoenix_2006_2009_fixer.exe

1) Install FLS-4Drv1.34.exe (only if step 2 shows error)
2) Install Phoenix_Service_Software.msi (newer Version 2009 )
3) Fix Dongle by installing Phoenix_2006_2008_fixer.exe (only if it asks for dongle)

Using Phoenix - quick walk through

1) Run the program
2) Create User if it asks to.
3) Connection, select USB and apply it.
- Supports dead phones
- firmware downgrade (you need security card for that).
4) Connect phone, select scan product.
5) Get flashing!

If you are having trouble installing phoenix fresh/upgrade
Because you have pc suite, nokia software updater etc installed or any other conflict

Do these steps and goto top^ Fresh install

System Preparation

- Uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Software Updater and any other Nokia Stuff.
- Uninstall Nokia Drivers like connectivity, flash cable, modem driver etc.
- Reboot PC.
- Clean temporary files and registry using your favourite software, if you don't have one get one ccleaner.com
- Reboot PC.


One phoenix is installed, you can install Nokia stuff also.

Apparently it should ask for dongle (depending upon the version you downloaded), if it does use old dongle . I had one, it didn't ask while installation. Its MD5 529007e5fcca7094df2cac66ccd7a582

do i need to dwnd all tese softwares and then install them or else it is included in the file wic i dwndedand also can i flash my dead n95 8gb

All files are included in the pack, yes you will be able to flash dead Nokia 95 8gb too. But you will need firmware files, search for them on google. If they are on your HDD, then point phoenix to them.

i did not find firmware files in google, plz can any one in the forum tell me wer exactly i can find the files,or any method to get the files

thanks a thousand times, now ill try to get my n95-8gb in working,ill contact u if i have any doubts

also i have a n82 wic is working fine and ive noticed tat the firmware files for it r ter in c:\document&settings\allusers\nokia\serv icelayer........,do i need to copy them for future use,like suppose my n82 dies or like any other matter,so tat i can get it back to working

Yes you can do that. save them for such a case.
Note one thing - when you'll revive your N95 at the start cell if off and when flashing begins, after a few steps it says:
Waiting for USB device. Press phone's power button (if you start from dead terminal)

Now you must turn on the phone to continue.

Rapidshare one is alternate. Go with the file you downloaded first. Both are same.
