speedup gallery and music player update

Download attachment. Copy MGXDatabasePlugin.rsc to "C:\Resource\" and 101ffcd2.txt to "C:\private\10202be9\", then reboot phone. Now Music Player will look for new songs in "E:\sounds\" only and Media Gallery will look for photos and vids in "E:\images\" and "E:\videos\" only. Both will be much faster.
Also, when you choose the ringtone for a profile, you will see music files from "E:\sounds\simple\" only, instead of ALL your music files.
Tested on N95 8gb, N95-1, N82 and others

It works on n95. not sure about speedup, but it reduces the items in both play list and Media Gallery from unnecessary files (icons, ringtone, etc.).

very smart thing with the galery it really cleans it up....about the music files i suggest to make it search also in the folder E:\music because in my n95 it`s a folder that is default created by phone ....thank you

i haven't tried it yet on my 5800, wish something like this was already included in the firmware of the phones .. it gets very irritating to see my ringtones included in my music collection!

you can edit the .txt file for this. replace "E:\\sounds\\" with "E:\\sounds\\|E:\\music\\"

but one thing i noticed is that it still LOOKs for music or sound in C:Sound

I installed timebar, so there is a timebar folder in C: sound, which hourly tells the time...

is there a way to exclude C:sound folder to be searched for sound and music? thanks a lot again
