Instruction: MAP ID : 281

Step 1: Download the file from rapidshare.

Step 2: Extract the files to a folder.

Step 3: open the folder and copy the contents (gmapsupp.img) to your memory card where the map is stored .(e:/garmin) (If It asks for overwrite the file Click Yes)

i tried this one.i felt its pretty detailed compared to Ver.2 map and useful since this map includes small small points like hospitals, temple or masjid etc even if the particular city dnt have a detailed map.

do u have garmin unloacker with u.? if, enter 281 as th map code and generate the .unl file

it's better than Nokia/Ovi Maps or google maps.

This is already there. I m waiting for its new version. Do u have mapsource version of india 281?

i hop u instald garmin and unlockd it....now wat u all hv to do is

1.download the file
2.extract it
3.copy map to e:/garmin (where is ur mem card)
4.u can use 281 as map ID to unloack th map.

thanks for your reply...i am using latest garmin xt v 5 and have generated both unl key for map and this .img file(with the help of jet box and i use 281 in the custom field and copy pasted respective code in the text files and renamed them with their extension) and transferred that img file to the mmc in the folder named garmin still its saying no map(my application is registered as its not showing any msg to unlock the map and all)

why??

Hi dude, chk th name of both .unl files and map .imag file s correct...

1.sw.unl (app code)
2.gmapsupp.unl (map code with 281 ID)
2.gmapsupp.img (map image file )

if all these things r okay
open Garmin > tools > manage my data > map sets

chk wthr any map showing thr or not....
