I haven't activated this option but sometimes, not always, the same problem appears to my phone too! Probably 'cause I have a very old version 2.sth.sth.sth else...
Try switching your lines by pressing and holding the # button for about 2-5 secs and if no switching applies share your problem with your provider help desk...
But for your last problem, I also had it! Blame a virus attack but don't your phone... In my phone, I once had an 128MB and after a virus' attack I found a file about 716MB

I don't know what exacly was and where has been placed but I solve the problem only after formatting my device!
ALSO::: Look this::: For having your device completely formated do these:
1] Turn off your device and 5 sec after the monitor dims remove your MMC and
don't replace it...
2] Remove the battery for 10-15 secs and replace it!
3] (probably you'll need 3 hands for this): Press and hold with the exact order: [=
+ Menu button
+ [. button and holdind them switch on your device! (a bit tricky though)
4] Follow the instructions...
PLEASE NOTE THAT
*You must not have a MMC in your phone while formatting it like I said a few lines above 'cause it maybe locked for ever!
*You must have charged your buttery before formatting at least 25% (formatting it while charging not recommended)
*If you want to format your MMC and not your phone, buck up only your files to a PC and format it from the phone (I guess you know how - using a security password on your MMC while formatting MMC recommended) or format it on FAT system using your PC!
If I've been helpfull I would be happy...
