Use Your Pc/laptop Internet On Ur Mobile- Gnu Box S60v3

YES ITS TRUE ONE OF THE BEST APPLICATION BUT LITTLE TRICKY Basically Gnubox lets your pc share your internet connection with your phone over bluetooth making you have free internet on your phone this is a bit tricky and it took me a while to get it right but you'll be satisfied with the results just follow the tut and you'll do just fine.

First of all, download the unsigned gnubox file to your desktop.
Then, download the DevCertRequest at: https://www.symbiansigned.com/DevCe...0_2006_v2.0.exe
Then download the Nokia S60 SDK at (make sure u have activeperl installed too):

Developer Cert Request
- I assume u've signed up at their website.
- Start the DevCertRequest program
It'll be easier if u name all the files as gnubox
=Step1: Select as output file for your *.csr file
=Step2: If you dont have ACS pub ID , select No. Then select your key output *.key file name , and fill password.
ps: for Step1 and 2, have the files output to ur desktop.
=Step3: Fill Personal info
=Step4: Add capabilities (i selected all)
=Step5: Finish Developer cert request. Then *.csr file will created.
- Login in to Symbiansigned.com, click "My Symbian Signed" tab
- Click "Developer Certificates" on left side bar,
- Click "Request" and upload *.csr file and wait
- Will automatically change to Dev cert page. You can download dev cert, *.cer to the desktop

Signing The File
- Go to "Start" -> "Run" -> type command
- In the command prompt, type cd desktop (enter)
- Then type signsis -o -s -v gnubox.sis gnuboxs.sis gnubox.cer gnubox.key password (enter)
- TA-DA!! it's signed!
- use the newly generated gnuboxs.sis and install!!

Why don´t you upload a signed app instead of directions on how to sign it ourselves?

i read this article before in another thread in another site.. and i was able to certify the gnubox and i used it on my phone 3250.. and its cool.. and u dont need mrouter ... there r certain steps u have to follow in order to setup gnubox correctly on the phone and few steps needed on the computer too in order to make it able to shares its internet... i will try to post those steps later..

the final signed version of gnubox is not released yet.. so if u wanna use it till u have it certified for all users then u have to certify it for ur own mobile with ur own IMEI number of ur mobile.. i already certified gnubox for my mobile and it worked for me.. but if i send u the certified gnubox i have, it will not work for ur mobile.. coz its certified with my own IMEI.. so .. just follow the steps correctly and it will work.. and its really cool using computer internet on the phone.. much faster than GPRS too..

the next steps about how to make gnubox work on ur phone.. then u can follow the following link.. its shows what u have to do in details.. that link is posted for old symbian phones.. but it also work for s60 3rd edition..

but when i open the browser its not connecting and i m not able to change the connection option on my n73

in case u did everything and still didn't work for u.. try those 2 steps

a. When setting up the 'Bt' access point in your phone enter your dns address in the 'advanced setting' section. 'For your dns address type 'ipconfig /all' in the windows command line.'
b. In incoming connections under the tab 'Users' tick mark 'Require all users to secure their passwords and data'
