Hi i saw that Active File new version have tool for SMS backup & restore option.
Anybody test it.
I want to Flash my phone so before that I have to backup my 1700 sms from phone. anybody have other option.

have you saved the messages to memory card then it can be backed up.
and transfer to any symbian phone.
and if in phone memory then backup using nokia pc suite phone memory

I have many msg in Nokia 6600 which i want to transfer to Nokia N73ME. If i use Active File to backup msg in Nokia 6600 and restore in Nokia N73ME, will the restore erase my msg in Nokia N73ME ??? Can some1 pls guide me.

i personally transfered my 4000 msgs from mmc nokia 6120 to nokia 6220 and nokia 5630.....safely.
make sure you store messages to memory card
