Strange Problem in my nokia 6600

hey all,
last evening i encountored a very very strange prob in my fone ....

the prob is that i m not able to see any of the installed application ..be it any game, software , utility ...anything ... except for symantec antivirus & font remover ....

mp3 player, advance profile, camera's, alarm clck, world clck, smart movie, fexplorer, etc etc...many other more of these kind of stuff's

all these i m not able to c in the menu ...bt when i have a look at the manager ...evrything is there .. installed i mean ....

also my memory card has evrything ... all the songs, video's , pics ..messages ....

NOTE ---- BEFORE SEEING THIS I HAVE NOT INSTALLED ANYTHING ON MY FONE ....

i also checked with the antivirus ...bt found nothing ....

also ----WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL NEW APPLICATION I GET AN ERROR .............

UNABLE TO READ FILE

one more thing .... i have taken my sim, memory card out ...and then inserted it again bt again i was not able to c anything .....

lastly ....i dont knw weather this happed bcoz of the one thing which i faced yesterday ...

i was on call & there was another call in b/w that .. so i thght of placing the 1st call on hold (i dailed the no) and went for 2nd call (incoming ofcourse) bt as soon as i wnt for 2nd call ... my fone restarted....

& in the evening when i checked my fone ... no application in the menu ....

guys help me out ....this is killin me ......

i supp my memory card is oki as i m able to c the gallery ....

help ......

try out by formatting ur memory card and reinstall the soft or fomat the fone !

formatting the fone is the last option i want to go for ..as the warranty is expired .. i have to shell out money for that which i dont want to ...

some one who has faced this kind of prob plzzz let me knw .....

I think its better that u format ur fone... hey y shud u spend money to format dude?

Just format using the three keys.. I think this will solve ur prob..

Frankly speakin, I dont think the second call(incoming) has 2 do anything with this..
And pls tell this. What application did u install most recently.. I think this has 2 be the culprit..

well now evrything is oki .... i jst formatted my memory card .. and now evrything works fine ..i installed few applications & games ... & i was ableto c it on menu .. &ofcourse they were workin 100 %..

i supp this prob came due to some bad sectors in my memory card ...

anyways thnks for help ...
