Remember our little friend Twidroid? The little app that came out gigantically in our little Android Twitter client round-up?

Well, here’s the newest update that I found out. The SEO firm Tweeup has renamed Twidroid to Twytdroid. It is because they want to avoid upsetting a certain Mr. Lucas.

And the best news is, that this app will be used on millions of upcoming Android phones from five of the best manufacturers. It’s not a very good statement, remembering that it wasn’t long ago Twitter Inc. Pushed out their own Android client.

But hey, let’s welcome this new guy after all. And wish this is not just a change from an “i” to a "y"
