Unable to type alphabets (Nokia 7610)

Hi, i have problem with my nokia 7610. I installed Zi.Predictive.Text.Suite.v1.04.S60 few days back and uninstalled yesterday.

After that whenever i press my keypad for typing messages or for contact search, only the relevent numbers are appearing and not the alphabets.

i also tried the restore the original settings option, still the problem prevails.

please advice me.

U need to bring back to default setting . ... this can be done easliy by hard formatiing ur fone ... or sendin ur fone to NOKIA SERVICE CENTER... they wil do it for free .. if ur fone is under warranty ..

NOTE; NO need to worry ... only a specific filw which recalls the alphabtes is lost ... this is generally due to some unintsallation of softwares... which when removed along with uninstalation also removes these files...

DO NOT take tension .. go to Nokia service center ... & they wil repair it

Hi is right, take ur phone to service center... and have you tried keep pressing # (hash-key) for 3-4 seconds???? if your phone is set to enter numbers. it will solve it... or as the game said, go to service center.....

This can be easily overcome by formatting ur phone by pressing *#7370# in ur standby screen.
The phone will get formatted and all data will be lost, so back-up before formatting..

This happened to me once...Just formatted the phone, and everything was fine

yep., zinputrestorer should have done the trick without doing the dreaded format but then again., I guess it's ok now.... I suggest you try to download that app too just in case the same thing happens in the future.

this one's old school dude...

there was a time when changing the font on symbian series 60 phones were HOT! and also during that time., problems with the font is quite rampant because of the font update. because of that someone with a good heart, a symbian series 60 phone and a PC wrote a program that would restore the input software of series 60 smartphone and alas! zinputrestorer came to be!

its easy to remove the problem,just press *#7370# . This will format ur phone and will delete everything on ur phone memory...backup will not help u coz when u restore ur backup this problem will come again.

Not exactly.
Only backup the contacts and messages. It will do.

no man it vl not do bcaz if u restore tht problem vl rise again n again if any one can plz upload the software zinputrestorer
do fast as fast as possible....

On the contrary... as much as I dont want to., I would agree with infins this time....

you can backup only the contacts or messages by using some software or if you'll backup their specific folder.

And by using the search button.... you can find 2361_zinputrestorer.sis here
