hi guys....i bought a v3i yesterday n i dont know anything about this phone because i have been using nokia phones till now....can anyone tell me the full procedure on how to download softwares in my mobile?....i would be really thankful...

v3i isnt a smartphone - meaning it doesnt run on any OS which supports 3rd party softwares.so you wont be able to use softwares.
however you can use some java apps.you may want to check out the java apps section for that.
