Eliminate Scuffs and Scratches On Your iPhone With A Sponge

I abused my iPhone and it's got the marks to tell the stories. The most annoying though are the scratches on the pretty silver bezel. Thankfully, as Lifehacker shows us, those can easily be eliminated using a kitchen sponge.

If the shiny metal bezel around your iPhone has seen better days, and that nags at your perfectionist instincts, a quick protective taping and smooth back-and-forth with a rough-sided sponge can give it a more consistent, brushed look.

As detailed by a YouTube user and tested by the Just Another iPhone blog, brushing your iPhone's shiny bezel gives the phone a different look, along with helping to hide fingerprints, scratches, and chips acquired during rough travel. The key is taking long, smooth strokes with the coarse side of a sponge (they're usually yellow with green scrubbing surfaces), and being sure to protectively tape the edges of the bezel, and especially the screen, from your handiwork.
