Are you ready to have your own hosting for your website??
So you are ready to get a your own hosting, not an free hosting but your own hosting which need your effort to be managed ? Or you think you are atleast! This little test will help you determine if you have enough understandings in the way of running a linux hosting.
The following test is not an "official test" but one that I put together with things that you should know atleast something about. Some questions were written more than once in more than one way to truly test you. So please don't e-mail me telling me I don't know what I am talking about, and that I repeated myself with different wording... this is the point.
This is for fun! And is not meant to insult anyone!
Do I know how to use SSH?
Do I know how to use shell access?
Do I know what top and netstat are?
Do I know a command to edit a file?
Do I know basic linux command?
Do I know any place to buy a good hosting?

Question below for you if you run a dedicated server / VPS

(IF you answered yes to this - you shouldn't run a dedicated server.)
